Job Summary (Sr. Backend Engineer — Capital One)
- Position: Senior Backend Engineer (2 openings)
- Location: McLean, VA or Wilmington, DE (Hybrid — 3 days onsite, Mon-Thur; locals only)
- Experience: 12-13+ years overall required
- Extensive Java development experience
- Experience with Spark for data processing
- Strong hands‑on AWS (specifically Step Functions, Glue, Lambda)
- Prior work experience at Capital One
- Build and maintain ETL pipelines: data extraction, transformation, and loading
- Handle data file receipt from Discover and transfer into Capital One ecosystem
- Must provide Linked In profile
- Immediate start preferred
