QA Automation Engineer

Overview

Akkodis is seeking a QA Automation Engineer for a Contract with a client in McLean, VA
. Candidate must have strong expertise in Playwright automation to design, develop, and maintain scalable test frameworks.

Rate Range: $52/hour to $56/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Design, build, and maintain an end‑to‑end automation framework using Playwright with Type Script or JavaScript.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and end‑to‑end scenarios.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, or Jenkins.
• Create and maintain automated REST API tests to validate backend functionality and data integrity.
• Perform cross‑browser validation across Chromium, Firefox, and Web Kit to ensure consistent application performance.
• Identify, document, and manage defects in JIRA while collaborating with developers to resolve issues and flaky tests.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in QA automation with strong hands‑on expertise in Playwright.
• Advanced skills in Playwright automation with Type Script or JavaScript.
• Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines and working with tools like Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, or Jenkins.

Pay: $52.00 to $56.00 per hour
