How an Applications Developer Will Make an ImpactWe are seeking an experienced UI/UX Developer capable of working within a software development team to provide accessible front end design modifications.
Responsibilities Required Skills- Experience developing medium to large-scale applications; testing, linting, and adherence to coding/web standards.
- Hands-on experience with at least one:
React, Vue. Vue is preferred. - Solid understanding of usability and accessibility standards including Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
- Proven experience with Agile Projects from user stories and backlog management to acceptance criteria.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Fundamental experience with design principles, and component library creation.
- Comfortable with Git and the Command Line.
- Comfortable working in the Browser ecosystem, including concepts like the DOM and CSS’s cascade.
- Comfortable identifying, troubleshooting, and fixing UX problems (e.g. responsiveness, theming, etc.).
- Comfortable working in and defining common UI grid layouts.
- Implement the product's lifecycle:
Design, development, quality, deployment and maintenance. - Develop and adhere to best-practices for developing applications.
- Continuously contribute to team performance improvement and collaboration.
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Documented Experience with Dev Ops/Platforms:
Amazon Web Services (S3, RDS, EC2, ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, Cloud Formation, etc.). - Demonstrated experience with developing in Ruby/Ruby on Rails.
- Education: BA/BS in Information Technology or related field
- Experience: 3+ years of related experience
- Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Location: McLean VA, on Customer Site

Salary range for this position is $138,063 - $186,791. This is not a guarantee of compensation; salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements.
