Position Overview:

Freddie Mac is seeking a talented and motivated AI enabled Developer Associate to join our Product delivery team. In this role, Individual will contribute and accountable for Design, Development, Testing and Implementing Salesforce enhancements, Salesforce Experience cloud, building scalable and resilient microservices using Mule Soft that integrate seamlessly with internal Freddie Mac systems. Individual will also be responsible for enhancing the Dev Ops process to make it more efficient and seamless.

As an Associate Developer, individuals will work with development Lead to solution and develop code for Business and Technical requirements. This is a hands‑on development position with core responsibilities that involve coding, configuration in Salesforce, Mulesoft, applications and leverage Java /Unix/python scripting as required to support the platform. Your Impact:
  • Design, develop, modify, integrate, test, deploy and support internal Salesforce applications.
  • Enhance Experience cloud to support external customers.
  • Update the Dev Ops process using in‑grown tools and process and assist in identifying efficiencies.
  • Update and maintain the test automations suite built using Cucumber/Selenium.
  • Deliver projects in Agile methodologies.
  • Support planning activities, such as impact assessments, level of effort analysis and developer task assignments.
  • Integrate microservices with the salesforce platform using APIs (REST, SOAP, Graph

    QL), platform events and other integration mechanisms like Mule Soft.
  • Conduct regular code reviews to ensure best practices are being followed.
  • Support production issues when required.
Qualifications
  • 2 - 4+ years of hands‑on experience in design, implementation and production support of Salesforce, backend development and API Integration
  • 2 - 4 years' of hands‑on professional IT experience within an agile organization
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems or other related field or equivalent working experience.
  • At least one Salesforce Developer Certification.
  • Solid understanding and working knowledge of test automation tools (Cucumber, Selenium, etc).
  • Proven experience engineering solutions with technologies such as Java, Spring boot, Python scripting, etc. or preferably Mule Soft.
  • Experience with message queues and event streaming platforms.
  • Familiarity with API design principles and best practices.
  • Working with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins and Git Lab).
  • Leveraging Freddie enabled AI tools to enhance delivery and velocity.
  • Demonstrates ability to analytically address complex problems, process critical data, establish facts, and draw quality conclusions.
