Salesforce Developer

Immediate need for a talented Salesforce Developer. This is a 12+ Months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Mclean, VA (Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $70 - $75 /hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

• Design, develop, modify, integrate, test, deploy and support internal Salesforce applications.
• Enhance Experience cloud to support external customers
• Update the Dev Ops process using in-grown tools and process and assist in identifying efficiencies
• Update and maintain the test automations suite built using Cucumber/Selenium
• Deliver projects in Agile methodologies.
• Support planning activities, such as impact assessments, level of effort analysis and developer task assignments.
• Integrate microservices with the salesforce platform using APIs (REST, SOAP, Graph
  
  QL) platform events and other integration mechanisms like mulesoft
• Conduct regular code reviews to ensure best practices are being followed.
• Support production issues when required

• 5+ years experience in Information Technology.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems or other related field or equivalent working experience.
• 4+ years of hands‑on experience in design, implementation and production support Salesforce, backend development and API Integration.
• Solid understanding of salesforce development concepts, including Apex, SOQL, SOSL, Lightning components(Aura/LWC) and salesforce APIs
• Solid understanding and working knowledge of test automation tools (Cucumber, Selenium, etc)
• Prove experience designing, developing and deploying microservices using technologies such as Java, Spring boot etc. or preferably mulesoft
• Experience with message queues and event streaming platforms
• Familiarity with API design principles and best practices
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins and Git Lab)
• Required Salesforce Developer Certifications
• Leveraging enabled AI tools to enhance delivery and velocity
• Demonstrates ability to analytically address complex problems, process critical data, establish facts, and draw quality conclusions.
• Experience in Python scripting to enhance scripts leveraged to maintain the platform
