Position: Software Developer with Security Clearance
We’re looking for a Software Developer (Systems Software) to join a dynamic team in McLean, VA, building modern, scalable web applications that support complex, data-driven environments. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across the stack—combining frontend frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue with backend development in Node.js and API design. You’ll be hands-on in developing high-performance web applications and microservices, working with technologies like JavaScript/Type Script, SQL databases (Postgre

SQL/MySQL), Docker, and AWS. The team values clean, secure code and strong engineering fundamentals, with a focus on performance, usability, and scalable architecture. Must Have:
Demonstrated experience developing modern web applications using Java script/Typescript frameworks (Angular, React and Vue)

• Demonstrated experience with Node.js web frameworks and API development

• Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, modern Java script (ES6+) and Type Script

• Experience with CSS preprocessors (such as Sass)

• Experience designoing and implementing Restful APIs and microservices

• Working knowledge of SQL databases including schema design, query optimization and performance tuning

• Experience with Postgre

SQL and MySQL production environments

• Experience with ORMs such as Prisma, Sequelize

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker

• Familiarity with AWS cloud services and cloud-native development patterns

• Strong understanding of web application security best practices and usability principles

• Demonstrated experience with Git version control and collaborative environment workflows

• Strong problem solving skills including debugging testing and troubleshooting complex web applications Optional Skills

• Experience with Elastic Search

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code concepts (Terraform, Cloud Formation)

• Contributions to technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and knowledge bases

• Experience with monitoring observability tools

• Background with geospatial libraries

• Experience migrating or modernizing legacy apps

• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines

• Experience integrating with data lake architectures or data intensive apps
