Senior Manager, Product Manager, AI Acceleration

The Product Manager for the AI Acceleration team plays a critical role in reimagining the status quo and discovering new value creation opportunities. This transformational leadership role leads a large cross‑functional team through the entire product lifecycle, from initial research to proposing solutions and shipping. The manager partners with product managers, designers, engineers, data scientists, and business partners to leverage AI capabilities in delivering customer‑facing solutions that meet the unique needs of Capital One’s customers.

The product forms a key cornerstone of Capital One’s future blending human‑centered servicing needs with a deep technical understanding of the rapidly developing field of language models. Success requires a deep passion for language research, generative AI, and designing AI agents, and product‑centric thinking to identify and resolve complex problems while improving associate and customer experience.

• At least 5 years of experience working in Product Management
• Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following
• A Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)
• A Master’s Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration

• Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer‑facing digital products
• At least 2 years of experience managing an AI solution in the market

Monthly base salary ranges:
McLean, VA – $200,700 to $229,100;
New York, NY – $219,000 to $249,900. The role is also eligible for performance‑based incentive compensation that may include cash bonuses and/or long‑term incentives. Comprehensive benefits support employees’ well‑being and vary by status.
