Test Automation Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Understand system functionality and test cases in depth to design, implement, and advance software test automation capability.
• Analyze existing test automation software against industry advancements and recommend new solutions.
• Determine test cases and rapidly implement software to improve automated coverage.
• Operationalize automation across a team of developers, manual testers, and automated testers.

• 3+ years of experience on web application development teams fielding production systems.
• 3+ years of experience with programming in Python, JavaScript, Type Script, C# or .NET.
• 3+ years of experience with Agile development tools (Git, Jira, Wikis).
• Experience with test frameworks (Selenium, Playwright).
• Experience with web-based UIs, REST APIs, and databases.
• Experience with test automation in CI/CD (Jenkins, Git Hub Actions).
• Knowledge of complex web-based application functions, modules, integrations, or data.
• Back-end or security knowledge (SQL, Windows Server, IIS, containers, Linux) is a plus.
• Experience with Dev Sec Ops , Git Ops, or security tools (Git Hub CodeQL, static analysis) is a plus.
• Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong software engineering background with ability to learn new languages and technologies.

The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $ annualized (USD).
