Overview
As a Mulesoft Developer
, you will work with our growing Dev Sec Ops practice developing APIs and integration capabilities using the Mulesoft platform to connect data, services, and systems to help our customers achieve their mission. We are looking for candidates with experience with cloud platform services, understanding business requirements and implementing complex integrations. You will work with Technical/Solutions Architects and Business Analysts to translate business requirements into well‑architected solutions that best leverage the Mulesoft platform.
Responsibilities
- Develop APIs and integrations using the Mulesoft platform across a broad range of software programming tasks to ensure that their systems integrations are functional.
- Document as‑is state of the environment, perform a gap analysis, and produce artifacts that articulate options and recommendations.
- Create and provide technical documentation that explains upcoming or existing integrations to non‑technical individuals.
- Engineer and implement solutions and provide recommendations for continuous improvement for the services provided.
- Identify technical problems, perform root cause analysis, and develop software updates and fixes.
- Understand the needs of stakeholders and convey this to developers.
- Test and examine code written by others and analyze results.
- Ensure that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats.
- Act as an individual contributor and mentor more junior team members.
- Present regular status updates and provide cross training to other team members.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. government Security Clearance.
- B.S. degree in an IT field OR B.S. in a non‑IT field and 2 years related IT experience.
- 3 years of experience with the Mulesoft platform to include:
AnyPoint Studio, Mulesoft Cloud Hub 2.0, Mule Soft versions 4.6 and above. - 3 years of experience with one or more clouds (i.e., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- 3 years of experience with Git SCM providers such as Git Hub, Git Lab, Bitbucket.
- 3 years of experience with one or more programming or scripting languages.
- 3 years of experience with Salesforce Integrations.
- 3 years of experience with Cloud and Hybrid Integrations.
- Certifications:
Mulesoft Certified Developer – Level 2, AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solution Architect Associate, Azure Developer Associate. - 3 years of application development experience in an Agile environment.
- Experience implementing Docker containers and utilizing platforms such as Kubernetes.
- Experience designing, implementing, and documenting APIs.
- Experience utilizing CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins, Git Lab CI/CD, Git Hub Pipelines, Circle
CI, Travis
CI. - Experience implementing automated testing frameworks to test APIs and integrations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills.
Steampunk relies on several factors to determine salary, including but not limited to geographic location, contractual requirements, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $85,000 to $170,000. This estimate represents a typical annual salary range for this position.
