Dev Ops Engineer – Sr

These roles support Capital One's EP Tech / PFC organization platform team, which manages an existing backend system built primarily in Scala and Golang with Python for data components, running fully on AWS using mostly serverless and managed services (ECS/Fargate, Lambda, DynamoDB, Glue, EMR). The project is not greenfield; the core components are already built. The team is adding capacity to maintain and enhance the platform, provide production support, and execute an internal modernization effort to migrate the platform to a more modernized internal environment without changing the core programming languages.

Some engineers will focus on maintaining and running the existing engine, while others will support enhancements and the internal migration work stream over the next 12 months. Team is part of IP tech, PFC organization, Finco, org. Their tech stack is basically Scala, Golang, and Python and AWS. They don't have any component written in Java solely. Looking for PySpark along with PySpark and operating on EMR or Glow.

Looking mainly for back-end side, front end is helpful. Majority of Scala and Go is what they are looking for. Python is preferred on the data engineering side, big data background, PySpark.
