TAK Developer

As a full‑stack developer you will deliver end‑to‑end solutions in a fast and agile environment. You will work on the Tactical Assault Kit (ATAK) software, creating systems that make a difference. You will master new tools and techniques, and identify system improvements. You will help clients overcome challenging problems using the latest architectural approaches and technologies. Your work will consider current architecture, operating environment, and future enhancements.

• 5+ years of experience in software programming with object‑oriented languages, including Java and Kotlin
• 3+ years of experience with Android Tactical Assault Kit (ATAK) software development kit
• 2+ years of experience developing TAK Server plugins
• 2+ years of experience with the TAK ecosystem
• 2+ years of experience developing native Android applications
• Experience profiling UI, memory, and concurrency on Android
• Experience with on‑device database management using SQLite
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field

• Experience with Android distributions and software developmental kits
• Experience with mobile technologies, including cellular and wireless
• Experience with WinTAK and TAK X

The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $ (annualized USD).

• Remote:
  This position may require occasional in‑person work at a Booz Allen or customer facility.
• Hybrid:
  You may be expected to work from a Booz Allen facility frequently and may also need to visit a customer facility.
• Onsite:
  Work will primarily be performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility.
