Aretum is seeking a.NET Services Engineer. As a.NET Services Engineer you will focus on building and maintaining backend services, APIs, database integrations, and application logic using ASP.NET Core, C#, Entity Framework Core, PostgreSQL, GraphQL, Azure, Kubernetes, and Azure Dev Ops.

Due to the nature of our work as a federal consulting organization, employees may be expected to handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and must adhere to applicable safeguarding and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop services to implement business logic and modify data using ASP.NET and EFCore
• Create robust unit tests for APIs and other application components to ensure functionality and reliability
• Integrate advanced observability features into services, including Open Telemetry metrics and correlation identifiers
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by testers and end-users, and address bugs effectively
• Diagnose operational problems in deployed environments and log detailed bug reports for resolution
• Model and refine data structures for new features and optimize models for existing functionalities
• Develop complex SQL queries and views to enhance application integration and performance
• Maintain and evolve GraphQL schemas to support seamless data integration across systems
