Senior Manager, Software Engineering, Full Stack (Global Payment Network)

• Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers with deep experience in distributed microservices and full‑stack systems.
• Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal and external technology communities, mentoring peers, and occasionally coding or evaluating code.
• Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud‑based solutions that drive powerful experiences for millions of Americans.
• Utilize programming languages and technologies such as JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, Type Script, SQL, Python, Go, open‑source RDBMS and No
  
  SQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and a variety of AWS tools and services.

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• At least 6 years of experience in software engineering (excluding internship experience).
• At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).
• At least 4 years of people‑management experience.

• Master’s Degree.
• 9+ years of experience in at least one of the following:
  JavaScript, Java, Type Script, SQL, Python, Go or frameworks such as React or Angular.
• 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service.
• 4+ years of experience in open‑source frameworks.
• 4+ years of experience in containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
• 7+ years of people‑management experience.
• 2+ years of experience in Agile practices.

Salary ranges (based on location):
Houston, TX: $209,000 - $238,500
McLean, VA: $229,900 - $262,400
Riverwoods, IL: $209,000 - $238,500
