Digital Signal Processing Software Engineer

The Opportunity:

Use tools, techniques, systems, and procedures for developing sof tware or analytic tools for wired or wireless transmission of signaling data. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision. Mentor or supervise employees in both company and technical competencies.

You Have:

• 3+ years of experience with sof tware development languages, including Python, C, or C++
• Experience with digital signal processing algorithms or RF theory
• Experience using Agile processes and tools, including Jira or Confluence
• Ability to work in a team environment to brainstorm and innovate new ideas
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with firm ware development languages such as VHDL, Verilog, or Core Fire
• Experience with machine learning packages and building and testing neural network architectures using Tensor Flow, Keras, or Py Torch
• Experience using version control, including Git Hub
• Experience using Linux systems

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $ (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
