Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Service Now Developer to join the Enterprise Risk Management Technologies Team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in designing, configuring, and implementing Service Now Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) solutions while customizing out-of-the-box Service Now capabilities to meet complex enterprise business requirements. This role requires strong hands-on experience in Service Now development, JavaScript, Glide scripting, Integration Hub, REST APIs, Agile development, and enterprise application integration.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, architects, and product teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality Service Now solutions.

• Service Now Development & Configuration
  • Design, develop, configure, and implement enterprise-grade Service Now GRC solutions.
  • Customize and extend out-of-the-box Service Now applications based on business requirements.
  • Develop scalable and maintainable Service Now applications following platform best practices.
  • Configure and customize:
    Forms, Fields, Lists, Views, Work spaces, UI Policies, Client Scripts, UI Actions, Dashboards, Reports, Service Catalog, Service Portals
• Workflow Automation
  • Design and implement business workflows using:
    Business Rules, Script Includes, Scheduled Jobs, Flow Designer, Workflows, Notifications, Mail Scripts, Events
  • Automate enterprise business processes using Service Now workflow capabilities.
  • Develop reusable server-side and client-side scripting components.
• Integration & API Development
  • Build enterprise integrations using:
    Service Now Integration Hub, REST APIs, Web Services
  • Develop and consume RESTful APIs for seamless system integration.
  • Implement secure integrations with internal and external enterprise applications.
• Security & Administration
  • Configure and manage:
    Users, Roles, Groups, Access Control Lists (ACLs)
  • Ensure platform security, governance, and compliance with enterprise standards.
  • Manage Update Sets and support deployment across multiple environments.
• Data Management
  • Perform data imports into Service Now GRC application tables.
  • Support data migration, transformation, and validation activities.
  • Maintain data quality and integrity across Service Now environments.
• Testing & Quality Assurance
  • Perform functional testing and validation of Service Now GRC workflows.
  • Troubleshoot application issues and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production deployments.
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, software quality, and platform governance.
• Agile Delivery
  • Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies including:
    Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Business Analysts, QA Engineers, and Architects.
  • Estimate development efforts and deliver high-quality solutions within sprint timelines.
• Documentation & Production Support
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, solution designs, deployment guides, and operational procedures.
  • Provide production support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
  • Participate in deployment planning and release management while ensuring compliance with enterprise software governance standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Service Now Application Developer.
• Minimum 3+ years as a Certified Service Now Application Developer (CAD).
• Strong experience designing and implementing enterprise Service Now solutions.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience with:
  JavaScript, AJAX, XML, JSON, HTML, CSS.
• Strong expertise with:
  Glide Record Queries, Glide Scripting, Script Includes, Client Scripts, Business Rules.
• Hands-on experience with Service Now Integration Hub.
• Strong experience developing REST API integrations.
• Experience with Service Now Update Sets and deployment processes.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

• Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist – Risk & Compliance (GRC).
• Experience implementing enterprise GRC solutions.
• 4+ years of Agile software development experience.
• Experience working in large enterprise environments.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
• Self-driven with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
