This role is more than just coding. As a full stack developer at Booz Allen, you'll use your passion to learn new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You'll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You'll help make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

You Have:

• 2+ years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining production web applications
• Experience building frontend applications with React and Type Script
• Experience developing backend services and REST APIs with Node.js and Type Script
• Experience building data-backed applications with relational databases such as PostgreSQL
• Experience deploying or supporting applications in a cloud environment
• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of software engineering experience in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with NestJS, Vite, Tailwind CSS, or shadcn UI
• Experience containerizing and deploying applications with Docker, Azure Web Apps, and container registries
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with Git Hub Actions
• Experience integrating applications with Databricks, Databricks Apps, Lakebase, or data lake platforms
• Experience designing REST APIs with consistent routes, error handling, and OpenAPI documentation
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Codex, or Git Hub Copilot
• Experience with automated unit, integration, end-to-end, or accessibility testing
• Experience with Python and FastAPI for data-oriented services and integrations

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $ (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
