Position SummaryAs a member of the Enrollment Services team, the Admissions Coordinator is responsible for managing Linfield's campus visit program and ensuring every prospective student and family enjoys an engaging, personalized visit experience. This position oversees front office operations, coordinates individual and group visits, manages the student ambassador program, and serves as the primary point of contact for the Admission Office.
Success in this role requires exceptional organization, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to balance multiple priorities while providing outstanding customer service.
What You'll DoCampus Visit Experience & Event Coordination- Coordinate all aspects of the prospective student visit experience, including individual visits, daily campus tours, virtual programs, and visit inquiries.
- Plan and execute group visit programs in collaboration with campus and community partners.
- Coordinate logistics and staffing for admissions tables and campus recruitment activities.
- Assist with planning and executing large-scale recruitment events, including Open Houses and specialty visit programs.
- Partner with faculty, staff, coaches, and student ambassadors to create personalized and engaging visit experiences.
- Serve as the first point of contact for the Admission Office, welcoming visitors in person, by phone, and through email.
- Provide accurate information and exceptional customer service to prospective students, families, and campus partners.
- Oversee daily front office operations, including reception, phone coverage, mail distribution, and general office coordination.
- Coordinate and oversee Linfield's Student Ambassador program.
- Manage ambassador scheduling for campus tours, office support, telecounseling, and special events.
- Ensure ambassadors are prepared for campus visits and understand their responsibilities.
- Support admissions counselors by coordinating ambassador assignments with faculty, facilities, and campus staff.
- Monitor student performance and accountability according to program expectations.
- Support billing processes and budget-related activities for enrollment events.
- Maintain the Welcome Center to ensure spaces and materials are visitor-ready.
- Manage office supply inventories and admissions publications.
- Assist with operational projects that support Enrollment Management initiatives.
- Maintain knowledge of university policies, systems, and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Identify opportunities to improve campus visit programs and front office operations.
- Proofread recruitment and marketing materials as needed.
- Complete additional projects that support admissions and enrollment goals.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Administrative office or related professional experience.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to learn and utilize database software.
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Commitment to supporting Linfield University's mission.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience working in higher education or admissions.
- Familiarity with enrollment management systems or CRM databases.
