Hours: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, or as needed to fulfill duties of the position.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in or with a secondary or post-secondary education institution.
- Demonstrated abilities in leadership, human relations, communication skills (written and verbal), and organizational skills.
- Evidence of strong work ethic as it relates to timeliness of reporting, oversight of multiple on‑going projects, and the ability to work with industry/employers.
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships with multiple local businesses, employers, industry, workforce development agencies, secondary and post‑secondary institutions.
- Ability to interpret complex governmental regulations, policies, and accreditation standards to communicate effectively in written and spoken English, to relate to faculty, staff, community, and student populations.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality.
- Possess valid TN driver’s license.
- Willing to travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with accreditation and compliance reporting.
- Experience with workforce development.
- Knowledge of Tennessee Board of Regents policies and workforce development initiatives.
- Experience with assessment, strategic planning, and continuous improvement processes.
General Duties:
The Accreditation and Workforce Compliance Specialist reports to the Vice President and is responsible for supporting institutional effectiveness, accreditation compliance, workforce reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives. This position serves as a liaison among academic programs, administration, and external agencies to ensure compliance with accreditation standards, regulatory requirements, and workforce development initiatives. The specialist assists with data collection, reporting, program review, assessment, and the implementation of processes that promote student success and institutional excellence.
Key Responsibilities –
Essential Job Functions:
- Serve as the accreditation liaison for the institution, ensuring the college remains compliant with all related policies and standards.
- Oversee and participate in the compilation and timely submission of quarterly and annual reports as requested.
- Oversee the preparation, review, and submission of accreditation reports, self‑studies, and substantive change documents.
- Coordinate with external agencies, auditors, and accrediting organizations during reviews and site visits.
- Provide training and technical assistance to faculty and staff regarding accreditation, assessment, and compliance requirements.
- Maintain confidential records and ensure the integrity and security of institutional data.
- Coordinate with business and industry to develop special training opportunities.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with federal, state, and Tennessee Board of Regents requirements.
- Coordinate program review processes and assist faculty and administrators with assessment and continuous improvement efforts.
- Maintain and enforce college policies and procedures.
- Communicate an accurate image of the College to the public.
- Maintain confidentiality of information exposed in the course of business regarding students, supervisors, or other employees.
- Oversee cooperative and work‑based learning agreements, ensuring all agreements and required paperwork are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Monitor the cooperative and work‑based learning system with employers, participating students, and faculty.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by the Vice President.
