General Information
Willamette Education Service District is accepting applications for a full‑time (40 hours per week) Behavior Intervention Teacher position.
This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from a four‑year college or university and appropriate licensure from TSPC including a Special
Education:
Generalist endorsement. Demonstrated knowledge of general elementary, middle, and high school subject matters. Experience working in a therapeutic milieu and/or experience working with children who engage in explosive behaviors. Experience working with Alt Ed/SPED population also highly desirable.
Successful candidate will work as a member of the Special Education Department and will follow a 190‑day calendar. This position will be based at the Willamette ESD Yamhill Center in McMinnville, OR and will begin Aug 21, 2026.

Salary and Benefits
- This is a full‑time (1.0 FTE) licensed position represented by Willamette Valley Education Association.
- Placement on the Willamette ESD licensed salary schedule, $52,645 - $98,397, will be commensurate with applicant’s qualifications, relevant training, experience, and prorated according to start date. Salary and benefits shown are based upon full‑time employment (1.0 FTE) for the entire school year contract period.
