We are looking for an experienced Lead Network Engineer to lead POP, cabinet, and data‑center upgrades, manage projects, and design edge and backbone network solutions. The role will work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project plans, budgets and schedules are met.
Responsibilities- Troubleshoot networks at OSI levels 1‑7
- Manage BGP, MPLS, OSPF, L2/L3 VPN, QoS and connected hardware
- Configure switches, routers and firewalls via command‑line
- Assist in designing edge network systems
- Maintain Hunter's Juniper core network
- Provide Tier 3 NOC support for edge technicians
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the field
- Carrier‑grade and/or ISP experience
- Experience with MPLS, L2
VPNs, L3
VPNs, OSPF, BGP and QoS - Experience with optical networking/DWDM
