As a hands-on Project Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing and technical integration of CAPEX projects. You will work side by side with oversees and local vendors, local contractors, and in house cross functional teams to accomplish our goals with safety and industry standards in mind. You'll handle complex operational challenges, bringing solutions to our machinery and workflow for continuous improvement.
With a mix of machine-related tasks and broader production flow responsibilities, you'll contribute to a high-performing production environment.
- CAPEX Project Deliver:
- Projects delivered on time, within budget, and according to scope and specifications.
- Working closely with a variety of vendors, contractors, and in house cross functional teams to ensure success.
- Smooth commissioning and handover: protocols, documentation, drawings, manuals, etc.
- Ensure projects are following all safety standards as well as food safety standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and maintain quality standards.
- Innovation and Continuous Improvement.
- Education:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Food Science, or related field. Master's degree in engineering preferred. Documented and proven work experience could be relevant in lieu of education. - Project Management Certifications preferred.
- Technical Expertise:
Schematic plans, "PNID's", "One-line Diagrams", Layouts (AutoCAD). Hands on execution of capital projects working with OEM's, contractors, and vendors. - Problem-Solver: A natural inclination for hands-on troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
- Strategic Thinker:
Ability to maintain a broad perspective while focusing on targeted solutions.
