HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

All LCSNW team members will contribute to our mission of partnering with individuals, families and communities for health,justice and hope.

This position provides intensive home visiting services and family support to highly stressed families with young children, promoting infant and early childhood mental health, healthy development, and strong parent‑child relationships. As the Outreach Home Visiting Supervisor, this individual carries a home visiting caseload while also providing leadership, supervision, coaching, and support to Outreach Home Visitors. In collaboration with program leadership, the supervisor oversees the daily operations of the Outreach program, including program planning, staffing, training, team development, quality improvement, and service coordination.

This position works closely with community partners and internal programs to connect families with resources,facilitate access to needed support, and strengthen protective factors that help prevent child abuse and neglect.

Fluency in both English and Spanishis required to effectively serve families and support staff across the program.

This position is full-time for
37.5 hoursperweekwhich requires the ability to work some evening hours.

Enrollment in the Central Background Registry is beneficial if you are even considering working with children in the State of Oregon since it will berequiredbefore you can start a position. Enrollment isfreeand it is recommended that you start now as the process can take time. Start enrollment online at:

  • Provide Weekly supervision to all Outreach home visitors to meet Oregon Association of Relief Nursery (OARN)
    Quality Assurance (QA) standards as well as Relief Nursery program policies and procedures.
  • Be available for crisis/immediate debriefing with Home Visitors and provide reflective supervision.
  • Assign and manage caseloads; work with home visitors to develop plans to support families
  • Maintain written documentation of all supervisor sessions per Relief Nursery requirements.
  • Hire, train, and mentornew home visitors and provide ongoing support with professional development
  • Monitor program compliance through review of home visit records andQAactivities required by OARN
  • Support the AFP Home Visiting Program Managerin overseeing acommunity outreach andfamily engagement plan
