HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

All LCSNW team members will contribute to our mission of partnering with individuals, families and communities for health,justice and hope. The Outreach Home Visitor/Parent Educator provides parenting education, family support, therapeutic classroom programming, and community outreach services to increase awareness of A Family Place programs and promote healthy child development, positive parent-child relationships, and family well-being. This bilingual (English/Spanish) position delivers intensive home visiting services to highly stressed families, coordinates andfacilitatescommunity-based parenting education groups, andassistsfamilies in accessing resources and support services.

The role serves as a liaison between AFamily Place programs and the community, increasing awareness, engagement, and access to available services. In addition, this position co-leads regular respite opportunities for families in the early childhood therapeutic classroom, provides oversight and support to childcare staff and volunteers during parent education programming, and collaborates with internal and external partners to strengthen outcomes for children and families.

This position is full-time for
37.5hoursperweekwhich requires the ability to work some evening hours.
