Registered Nurse (RN) – Perioperative – Part Time | Day | Shift 0600 - 1630 / 0800 - 1830. Wage $56.65 - $78.08 per hour. Union position.
Department / Unit SummaryThe Perioperative Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process throughout the surgical experience. The RN collaborates with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality care before, during, and after operative procedures. The RN serves as a patient advocate and addresses the physical, psychosocial, cultural, and educational needs of patients and families.
The RN communicates effectively with all team members to promote positive patient outcomes and a culture of safety.
- Utilize specialized plan‑of‑care interventions and act as a patient‑care innovator.
- Shape exceptional patient journeys daily using advanced technology to directly impact patient well‑being.
- Current state RN license.
- Bachelor’s degree or associate degree from an accredited nursing school.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Preferred: 1 year of experience.
