Cellar Ridge Construction is dedicated to high-quality craftsmanship and supporting a positive work environment. We work on both residential and commercial projects, collaborating with clients, supervisors, architects, subcontractors, and project managers daily.
We’re seeking a skilled Finish Carpenter to join our team! You’ll be responsible for intricate interior and exterior details that require a precise, artistic touch. If you’re passionate about woodwork quality and enjoy creating beautiful, lasting solutions, we want to hear from you.
- Install doors, windows, cabinets, baseboards, trim, molding, stairs, and other finishing elements with high accuracy.
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
- Measure, cut, and shape materials using hand and power tools.
- Work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
- Conduct site inspections, ensure final products meet company and industry standards, and complete touch-up work as needed.
- Communicate clearly with supervisors, team members, and clients.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Travel to job sites within the designated area.
- Have a broad range of skills.
- Have tools available.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction or finish carpentry.
- Proficiency using carpentry tools and equipment; must bring own tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and fine craftsmanship.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to travel to local job sites.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and team collaboration skills.
- Reliable and punctual; able to work 8-10‑hour day shifts.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or in confined spaces as needed.
- Certification in carpentry or related construction field.
- OSHA safety certification.
- Experience with both residential and commercial projects.
- Knowledge of sustainable or green building practices.
