Salary60, depending on experience.
Job SummaryLooking for a competent gas service technician with a strong mechanical background, preferably in propane gas, natural gas, HVAC, appliance repair, gas plumbing, or industrial maintenance.
Responsibilities- Installing, repairing and maintaining propane appliances for residential, commercial and industrial customers.
- Performing repairs and adjustments on propane equipment.
- Driving a flatbed boom truck for delivering and installing propane (LP‑Gas) tanks.
- Installing and pressure testing gas service lines to meet all state and local installation/permit requirements.
- Inspecting vehicle daily and reporting any problems in accordance with company policy and DOT regulations.
- Must obtain a Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazmat, Tank and Air Brake endorsements and DOT Medical Card within 30 days of hire.
- Pass pre‑employment DOT physical, drug test and Homeland Security Background Check.
- Good interpersonal skills and willingness to take direction from District/Branch Manager.
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent customer service skills and a strong sales background.
