PRN Licensed Practical Nurse; LPN​/Registered Nurse; RN

Willow Branch Health and Rehab is seeking PRN Licensed Practical Nurses & Registered Nurses! (LPN/RN)

• Prepares and administers medications (orally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and records prescribed treatments, reporting adverse reactions in accordance with the medication administration policy.
• Records patient medical information and vital signs accurately.
• Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment used on patients, and interprets and records electronic displays.
• Initiates corrective action whenever a patient displays adverse symptomatology.
• Provides bedside care for a wide variety of medical patients.
• Changes dressings, inserts catheters, and starts IVs as needed.
• Prepares equipment and assists the physician during examinations and treatments.
• Responds to life‑saving situations based on nursing standards and protocols.
• Participates in discharge planning.
• Utilizes time‑management skills effectively.
• Records all care information concisely, accurately, and completely in a timely manner and in the appropriate format.
• Performs other position‑related duties as assigned, depending on the assignment setting.

• Current LPN or RN license in the State.
• Up‑to‑date first aid and CPR certification.
• Preferred: at least one year of experience as an LPN or RN in a long‑term care setting.
• Preferred: knowledge of Matrixcare.
