PRN Certified Nursing Assistant; CNA

Shift Type: PRN CNA

• Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Take and record patient vital signs, lift, move, and transport residents using proper body mechanics.
• Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to nursing management. Ask appropriate questions to clarify situations.
• Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.
• Report abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
• Assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

• At least one year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in a Long Term Care setting is highly preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Certified Nursing Aide Assistant program.
• Possess and maintain a current state certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Knowledge of Matrix Care preferred.
