We are looking for experienced tax professionals to join us as seasonal team members and help us make this happen!

At SJHL we are redefining what it means to work in public accounting with our  Path to 45  journey. This innovative approach ensures our team works, on average 45 hours a week during tax season. With five office locations across the state of Kansas and one in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, we offer a wide range of interrelated services, including tax, audit, business advisory, wealth management, and consulting services, to a variety of individuals and businesses.

• Genuinely enjoys tax work (yes, those people exist, and we love them!)
• Has at least 5 years of public accounting tax experience
• Likes digging into tax issues and figuring out the best path forward
• Values building relationships with clients and serving as a trusted advisor
• Enjoys collaborating with teammates and sharing knowledge
• Appreciates flexibility while remaining accountable to deadlines
• Wants to help us redefine tax season through our Path to 45 journey

• Prepare (possibly review depending upon experience level) business and individual income tax returns
• Identify and research tax issues applicable to client transactions
• Help grow other team members by spending time with them and knowledge sharing

• First 15 Reading Program: start your day off right with a book each day for 15 minutes
