Job Title : Lead Estimator

About the Role:We are looking for an experienced Lead Estimator with strong construction estimating experience. The ideal candidate will handle estimates from takeoff through bid submission and help the company win profitable projects. This role also offers a growth path into Preconstruction Leadership
.
- 5+ years of construction estimating experience
- Experience with Heavy Civil, Concrete, Utilities, Earthwork, Foundations, Industrial, Commercial, or Municipal projects
- Experience estimating projects ranging from $200K-$7M
- Strong experience with quantity takeoffs, pricing, cost analysis, and bid preparation
- Experience coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers
- Strong understanding of labor, materials, equipment, production costs, and project risks
- Experience with HCSS Heavy Bid or similar estimating software
- Ability to independently manage estimates from takeoff to final bid
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Must be willing to work on-site in McPherson, Kansas
- Ability to work approximately 45-50 hours/week
- Heavy Bid experience
- Preconstruction or Design-Build experience
- Industrial/municipal construction experience
- ERP experience such as Acumatica
- Estimating team leadership or mentoring experience
