Work Schedule for a Full‑Time Career SpecialistFull‑time Monday through Friday during the school year with flexibility during the summer.

ResponsibilitiesIdentify, recruit, and educate students who face obstacles to graduation. Use the JAG model to facilitate student‑centered programs that promote academic success, career exploration, and transition to college, military, or workforce. Instruct 35 to 60 students per cohort, ensuring performance outcomes are met or exceeded through project‑based learning and JAG activities such as career, civic, social, and service‑learning conferences. Deliver value‑added instruction, support, and advocacy to graduates and non‑graduates through follow‑up services.
Qualificationsfor a Full‑Time Career Specialist
At least one year of experience working with youth or a bachelor’s degree. Must reside in Kansas and possess a valid driver’s license. Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and proficient in technology.
