Supervising Teacher
Provide instructional support with translation to students so they can benefit from their educational program.
Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Qualifications Requirements- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Criminal history record from the Kansas Bureau of Investigation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Understands program, classroom routines, and contributes to the instruction of students.
- Follows directions of the supervising teacher.
- Takes initiative to assist in the assignment/classroom.
- Demonstrates effective interpersonal skills.
- Promotes positive self-concept and demonstrates sensitivity in relating to students.
- Understands and maintains confidentiality.
- Supervises students.
- Completes inservice requirements and reports in a timely fashion.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general educational documents, technical procedures, and governmental regulations. Ability to edit reports, correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Mathematical SkillsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent; and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Technology SkillsOperation of computer keyboard and telephone equipment is essential. Knowledge of basic computer operations of database management, spreadsheet, and word processing are fundamentals to many of the job functions of this position.
Reasoning SkillsAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
