ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN — MCPHERSON COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS DEPT.
MCPHERSON COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS is accepting applications for a Full‑time Engineering Technician.
Requirements- High school graduate with supplemented training or experience in civil engineering related to public works design preferred.
- Drafting and surveying skills preferred.
- Ability to use or learn Word, Excel, Power Point, Auto Cad, and Micro Station helpful.
- Sampling and Material Testing
- Creating bid documents
- Creating engineering reports
- Drafting and design
- Assisting with preparing estimates of work and material
- Surveying and research
- Inspection of construction projects and bridges
- Assisting in traffic studies
- Assisting in bridge inspections
Beginning hourly wage is $19.84 - $32.85 dependent on qualifications and experience.
