ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN — MCPHERSON COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS DEPT.
MCPHERSON COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS is accepting applications for a Full‑time Engineering Technician.
Requirements- High school graduate with supplemented training or experience in civil engineering related to public works design.
- Drafting and surveying skills preferred.
- Ability to use or learn Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, and Micro Station helpful.
- Sampling and material testing.
- Creating bid documents.
- Creating engineering reports.
- Drafting and design.
- Assisting with preparing estimates of work and material.
- Surveying and research.
- Inspection of construction projects and bridges.
- Assisting in traffic studies.
- Assisting in bridge inspections.
Beginning hourly wage is $19.84 - $32.85 dependent on qualifications and experience.
