Occupational Therapist – Inpatient & Outpatient
Location: McPherson, Kansas
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $38–$46 per hour, depending on experience
Sign-On Bonus: $5,000
We are seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a community-based hospital setting in McPherson, Kansas
. This position offers the opportunity to work with both inpatient and outpatient populations
, providing a diverse and rewarding clinical experience.
Both new graduates and experienced Occupational Therapists are encouraged to apply
. New graduates will have access to mentorship and professional development resources to help build confidence and advance their clinical skills.
McPherson offers a welcoming community environment and is approximately one hour from Wichita, Kansas
.
- Evaluate, assess, and treat patients based on individual needs and goals
- Develop and implement appropriate occupational therapy treatment plans
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary staff
- Assist with planning, developing, and promoting therapy programs
- Present educational in-services to therapy staff as appropriate
- Assist with the general operation of the therapy department
- Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in accordance with applicable state regulations
- Collaborate with the care team to support positive patient outcomes
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
- Graduate of an accredited/certified Occupational Therapy program
- Current Kansas Occupational Therapist license or eligibility to obtain state licensure
- New graduates and experienced Occupational Therapists are welcome to apply
- Strong communication, collaboration, and patient-care skills
- $38–$46/hour
