Dietary Clerk
Job Summary:
The AM Clerk monitors menus and patient dietary changes. Makes updates in the patient dietary book to inform other dietary staff of these changes and assists the other kitchen staff with cold food preparation, serving meals, and aiding in the assembly of Meals-On-Wheels food distributions.

Dietary Clerk Essential Accountabilities:
Reviews menus for current and upcoming days to ensure an organized and steady work environment.
Analyzes and prepares any cold food products and replenishes shortages to maintain and meet consumer demands and display satisfactory and excellent service.
Assists in serving meals to current patients, and for Meals-On-Wheels participants.
Monitors and adjusts patient dietary information to update current records and alter services accordingly.
Abilities to organize and distribute delivered goods into appropriate areas to ensure food consumption safety.
Executes and maintains a clean workspace and residing space for patients, employees, and visitors.

Certifications:High school diploma/equivalent must be at least 16 years of age.

Potential exposure to airborne diseases. The same as for any individual working in a hospital environment that is dependent on a ceiling ventilation system for in flow and out flow of air. Regular exposure to moderate physical discomfort from fumes or odors, extreme temperatures, loud noises, and bright lights.
