We are seeking a motivated Facilities Helper to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing workplace relocations, assembling and disassembling office furniture, and performing various facility maintenance tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to build a career in facilities management.

• Relocate and reconfigure office equipment, furniture, and materials for associates moving between site locations.
• Assemble and disassemble modular office furniture, cubicles, and adapt to various office layouts.
• Perform basic tasks such as installing shelves, hanging whiteboards, and minor repairs.
• Assist with general office maintenance, including light mechanical repairs.
• Create and manage keys for office spaces.
• Conduct daily site inspection walks using provided forms.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times.
• Maintain an organized inventory of tools and supplies.
• Document completed work orders into the CMMS system.
• Collaborate effectively with team members in a corporate environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and understand furniture assembly instructions.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Experience with drywall preparation/repair and painting.
• Comfortable hanging TVs, monitors, whiteboards, shelving, etc.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic plumbing knowledge.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation to job sites.

• Previous experience in facilities maintenance, moving, or furniture assembly.
• Knowledge of basic carpentry is a plus (sheetrock, doors, walls, framing, painting).
• Willingness to learn and grow within the role.

The work schedule is from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed. The position is based at a pharmaceutical site, requiring adherence to safety protocols. Safety shoes and jeans are needed. Employees will occasionally drive a company van and golf cart. The role involves both indoor and outdoor work settings, requiring flexibility and adaptability.

This is a Contract position based out of McPherson, KS.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
