Responsibilities- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a team environment and independently.
- Work in a clean manufacturing environment, wearing special garments as required.
- Demonstrate proficiency in gown/de-gown (i.e., aseptic) processes.
- Operate production equipment, monitor equipment downtime, and manage scrap rates.
- Perform machine set‑up, repairs, adjustments, changeovers, emergency repairs/replacements, and preventative maintenance on production equipment per applicable procedures.
- Interpret data from production equipment automated control systems and displays.
- Adhere to all safety requirements (e.g., PPE, LOTO) and process step requirements (e.g., SOP, batch records).
- Communicate safety, quality, and equipment repair issues to management and recommend action plans.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to achieve production deliverables and schedule adherence.
- Support Integrated Manufacturing Excellence (IMEx) activities, including Continuous Improvement (CI), Standard Work (SW), and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) with metric tracking.
- Apply current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Good Documentation Practice, and follow detailed instructions.
- Operate and troubleshoot automated production equipment.
- Conduct root cause analysis.
- Serve as a certified trainer, coaching and training new hires.
- Act as subject‑matter expert (SME) for production equipment within the area.
- Act as SME for operations and technical resources outside the department.
- Partner with PES in planning and organizing shutdown activities.
- 3‑6 years of pharmaceutical manufacturing experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Problem‑solving mindset.
- Necessary mechanical skills to perform machine set‑up, repairs, and adjustments.
- Proficiency operating and maintaining standard maintenance tools/equipment, including hand and power tools, multimeters, and other mechanical equipment.
- Ability to read, interpret, and perform duties described in operating procedures, product batch records, and related documentation (e.g., vendor manuals, P&, schematics, drawings).
- 5+ years of relevant pharmaceutical manufacturing experience as operator or mechanic.
- Technical school or Auto Mechanic Program Certificate and/or industrial maintenance/repair experience.
Stand 8‑12 hours per shift, sit 2‑4 hours per shift, use a computer terminal 1 hour per shift. Change into required garments (scrubs, shoes, PPE, safety glasses) 2‑3 times per shift. Work around moving machinery, chemicals, in a hearing conservation area, on knees or non‑standing positions occasionally for repairs. Perform physical activities such as lifting up to 50 pounds, walking on floors/catwalks, climbing stairs or ladders, and responding to visual/audible warning and alarm indicators.
WorkSchedule and Travel
Non‑standard work schedule may require after‑hour support and weekend coverage. Ability to work overtime as required. Travel required only for special projects if assigned.

June 30th, 2026. The salary for this position ranges from $25.88 to $43.14 per hour. Eligibility for overtime, weekend, holiday, and other pay premiums depends on the work schedule and Pfizer’s policies.
