Senior Production Operator; SPO

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and repair of production equipment, and operation of the equipment during manufacturing.
• Self‑motivated with ability to work in a team environment and independently.
• Work in a clean manufacturing environment, requiring special garments to be worn.
• Demonstrate proficiency in gown/de‑gown (i.e. aseptic) process.
• Responsible for the proper operation of production equipment.
• Perform machine set‑up, repairs, adjustments, changeovers, emergency repair/replacement, and preventative maintenance on production equipment per the applicable procedures.
• Interact and interpret data from production equipment computerized control systems and displays.
• Responsible for equipment efficiency, downtime, and scrap rate.
• Adhere to all safety requirements (e.g. PPE, LOTO, etc.) and process step requirements (e.g. SOP, Batch Records).
• Communicate recommendation and plan of action for equipment repair to supervisor.
• Communicate and inform management of all safety and/or quality issues.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management to achieve production deliverables and schedule adherence.
• Support the Integrated Manufacturing Excellence (IMEx) activities (e.g. Continuous Improvement (CI), Standard Work (SW), and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) including tracking metrics).

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience OR post‑secondary education in mechanics or related field.
• Self‑motivated problem solver able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to communicate effectively across departments and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Competence in troubleshooting and performing quality checks.
• Demonstrated ability to follow established procedures and guidelines.
• Analytical, detail‑oriented problem solver with strong organizational skills.

• Previous experience in cGMPs (current Good Manufacturing Practices) environment.
• Relevant pharmaceutical experience.
• Proficiency in using manufacturing software and tools.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to mentor team members.
• Familiarity and basic understanding of common AI tools and a curiosity for learning how they can be used to enhance productivity.

• Work 8‑12 hours per shift; sit 2‑4 hours per shift; use computer terminal 1 hour per shift.
• Change into area required garments (scrubs, shoes, PPE, safety glasses) 2‑3 times per shift.
• Work around moving/rotating equipment, chemicals, in hearing conservation area, on knees or in a non‑standing position occasionally for repairs.
• Requires physical activity for equipment repair, adjustment and operation of equipment; respond to visual/audible warning and alarm indicators, respond to color or other visual indicators.
• Walk on floors, catwalks, climb stairs/ladders; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• 24x7 operations with a rotating 12‑hour shift schedule. Will work alternating weekends and holidays based on A/B shift schedule. Rotating Day Shift: 6am to 6pm. Ability to work overtime as required. No travel required. Work location assignment: on premise.

• Salary range $21.02 to $35.04 per hour. Eligible for overtime, weekend, holiday and other pay premiums.
