Job Summary
Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing environment, responsible for installing electrical systems and components on production equipment. This role includes ensuring proper setup, wiring, and integration to support smooth operation of manufacturing processes. Works closely with engineering teams to troubleshoot and maintain electrical systems, ensuring efficient operation and safety compliance.
Primary Responsibilities- Install electrical systems and associated components on manufactured equipment.
- Assemble, inspect, and test electrical systems, including machine electrical cabinets, junction boxes, and on-machine components.
- Utilize blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer’s installation manuals to complete projects.
- Survey electrical systems, circuits, and plans.
- Listen and comprehend instructions and directions.
- Verify all parts are present prior to performing work.
- Keep the work area clean.
- Record inventory changes as needed.
- Work safely without presenting a direct threat to self or others.
- Accurately record time on jobs and projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
- Comply with all safety rules and guidelines.
- Maintain a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and positive team attitude.
- Adhere to assigned work schedule, ensuring punctuality and reliability.
- 2+ years’ experience in the industrial electrical trade.
- Ability to work well on a team.
- Capable of lifting and carrying a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance.
- Experience wiring and building electrical cabinets (plus).
- Excellent hand‑eye coordination.
- Knowledge and skills for electrical installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

- Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, repetitive motions.
