Northwest School Division Finance Supervisor

Northwest School Division in Meadow Lake, SK, is looking for a Supervisor of Finance to start on July 2, 2026. This full-time permanent position is key for senior management in our expanding division.

As Supervisor of Finance, you will ensure efficient financial operations across 22 schools nurturing approximately 4500 students. The role includes overseeing budgeting, audit compliance, legal processes, and technology implementation within the organization. Your leadership will guide finance teams, helping to streamline processes and ensure adherence to policies for effective educational service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct budgeting and financial report preparation

• Manage audit requirements and legal compliance

• Oversee tender processes in financial operations

• Implement necessary financial technologies

• Supervise finance staff management and development

Requirements:

• Degree with a major in accounting, finance, or administration

• Professional designations such as CA, CMA, CGA, or LGA

• Experience in education-related finance preferred

• Familiarity with accounting systems and technology

• Proven track record of staff supervision
