Finance Supervisor

Position: Full-Time Finance Supervisor
Northwest School Division is hiring a Supervisor of Finance in Meadow Lake, SK. This senior management position involves overseeing budgets, audits, and financial processes.

Commencing on July 2, 2026, this role is crucial for the financial oversight of 22 schools serving approximately 4,500 students. The Supervisor of Finance will tackle legal issues, various tendering processes, and ensure accurate financial reporting. A strong background in finance along with experience in education is preferred to manage effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee annual budgeting processes

• Manage tendering and compliance with legal requirements

• Supervise technology implementations in finance

• Ensure timely financial reporting and audit readiness

• Lead and support finance team effectively

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree focusing on accounting or finance

• Designation like CA, CMA, CGA, or LGA preferred

• Experience in the education sector is an asset

• Familiarity with accounting systems and finance management

• Criminal Record Check must be provided prior to employment
