Position: Residential Electrician for Community Projects
Join the Flying Dust First Nation Housing Department as a Residential Electrician. This role is focused on installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in community buildings.

As an Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring all electrical installations meet industry standards and safety regulations. Ideal candidates are Third-Year Apprentices or higher, with proven experience in residential electrical systems. Successful candidates will work collaboratively with various stakeholders to maintain a safe work environment and complete job tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair residential electrical systems proactively

• Conduct inspections to identify and rectify deficiencies

• Install and replace various electrical components and fixtures

• Maintain compliance with safety and electrical codes

• Document all completed work and materials used

Requirements:

• Minimum Third-Year Construction Electrician Apprentice status

• Preference for Fourth-Year Apprentices or Journey persons

• Strong understanding of Saskatchewan electrical standards

• Ability to read technical schematics and blueprints

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence required
