Meadow Lake Bus Mechanic Position

Northwest School Division #203 is looking for a full-time Journeyman Mechanic at the Meadow Lake Bus Garage starting April 1, 2026. Play a vital role in vehicle repair and maintenance.

This permanent role involves responsibilities such as performing preventive maintenance, servicing NWSD vehicles, and conducting safety inspections. As a part of a dedicated transportation team, you will also enjoy benefits like a pension plan and assistance for further education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair and service Northwest School Division vehicles

• Carry out preventative maintenance tasks as needed

• Conduct safety inspections to ensure compliance

• Document repairs and service history for vehicles

• Work closely with transportation staff to optimize fleet use

Requirements:

• Must have Journeyman Mechanic certification

• Criminal Record Check is mandatory before starting

• Strong focus on quality repairs and safety standards

• Previous experience in vehicle maintenance preferred

• Ability to work in a collaborative environment
