Media Control Technician Job Description
Responsibilities- Tracking of classified media in accordance with the NISPOM and Lockheed Martin Procedures
- Capturing metrics on performed tasks
- Completing logs as necessary for classified uploads
- Opening/closing of a closed area
- Interacting with high level customers/program management
- Processing destruction of classified material
Working with hard drives, tapes, and media - Assisting Asset Management team
- Information System Security Officer (ISSO) tasking as needed
- Other Security related tasking as assigned
- Perform anti‑virus scans on optical media
- Tracking classified and unclassified media IAW NISPOM and LM procedures
- Capturing and reporting metrics
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel etc.)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and function in a high paced environment
- Capability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Ability to support daily Media Control during open hours
- Monday – Thursday – 7:00a – 5:00p
- Knowledge of handling classified material
- Knowledge of working on a classified system
- Familiarity with Winzip and virus scanning software
- Linux or knowledge of Linux systems
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level security clearance. We will help you obtain it if hired
- Task driven with ability to work independently
- Ability to lift boxes up to 20lbs
- Ability to go up and down a ladder
- Team player that takes ownership and develops relationships with the team members which fosters team success
