This position reports to the Production Engineering Manager and is part of ELDS NAM in Mebane, NC. The role is onsite in Mebane, NC.

• Identify and recommend improvement opportunities and implement improvement projects, ensuring adherence to timeframe, quality, and cost requirements.
• Approve the design for processes developed internally or externally and perform final tests with respect to the project.
• Provide support to Production during internal/external process/equipment start‑up, defining action plans and training relevant maintenance and production resources.
• Evaluate new process technologies to improve productivity, quality, and cost reduction, defining and leading testing activities, approval criteria, and external provider choices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering field such as Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing or related engineering degree.
• Highly skilled in process definition, process standardization, and problem solving and process improvement for the MV SWGR product.
• 3 years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing engineering, industrialization and/or continuous improvement.
• Highly adept in AutoCAD, Solid Works, or modeling tools.
• Prior change management and influencing skills to drive cultural change.
• Comfortable communicating in English.
• Must already have work authorization that permits working for ABB in the US.
