Manufacturing Engineer

Our client, a leader in the automotive manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be an integral part of the production support team, driving continuous improvement, process optimization, and operational excellence. ** What's the Job?*
* + Develop methods, tooling, and techniques to reduce setup and changeover times for manufacturing equipment.

+ Modify manufacturing processes to enhance safety, quality, and cost efficiency, implementing design changes as needed.

+ Manage capital projects, including equipment specification, installation, and coordination with outside contractors.

+ Lead continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen activities, and document results to track progress.

+ Collaborate across departments to identify process shortcomings and implement effective solutions using established change management practices.

** What's Needed?*
* + B.S. Degree in Mechanical and/or Industrial Engineering.

+ At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering and automation.

+ Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

+

Experience with Lean Enterprise principles and engineering solutions development.

+ Proficiency with computer tools such as MS Word, Excel, MS Project, Mfg Pro, and Kronos.
