Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in automation and control systems, is seeking a Controls Engineer to join their team. As a Controls Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the Production and Automation teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Update, troubleshoot, and maintain plant and assembly cell PLC programs, HMI, and Yaskawa robot programming.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement automation projects and improve assembly cell efficiency or throughput.

Verify new or rebuilt equipment to ensure compliance with client requirements before production starts.

Develop engineering solutions to eliminate repetitive equipment or process failures.

Provide hands-on support for electrical troubleshooting, repairs, modifications, and process improvements.

Minimum of an Associate's degree with 5 years of relevant experience in controls engineering.

Proficiency with Allen-Bradley software, PLC programming, and troubleshooting Yaskawa/Motoman robots.

Experience with electrical schematics, digital oscilloscopes, and power/control circuits up to 480 VAC.

Strong knowledge of Rockwell Software (RSLogix, RSLinx, Factory Talk View ) and familiarity with Siemens software is a plus.
