Production Planner

A growing manufacturing organization is seeking a Production Planner to support operations at its Mebane, NC facility. This position plays a critical role in ensuring production continuity across five manufacturing lines by balancing customer demand, production capacity, material availability, and inventory objectives. • Develop and manage production schedules to support manufacturing operations
• Create and execute production plans based on customer demand, capacity, and material availability
• Manage material replenishment and inventory planning activities
• Create and maintain purchase orders and monitor supplier deliveries
• Proactively identify and resolve material shortages, delays, and supply risks
• Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Procurement, Quality, Warehouse, Logistics, and Sales teams
• Monitor planning performance and adjust schedules as business priorities change
• Maintain planning data, production orders, and system accuracy within ERP platforms
• Analyze inventory levels and support initiatives to improve service, efficiency, and inventory performance
• Drive continuous improvement efforts through data analysis and collaboration

• Bachelor's degree required;
  Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or another analytical discipline preferred
• 5+ years of experience in production planning, materials planning, purchasing, or supply chain planning
• Manufacturing experience required
• Strong understanding of MRP planning concepts and inventory management principles
• Experience utilizing ERP systems for planning and purchasing activities
• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis
• Experience collaborating with suppliers and managing delivery schedules
• APICS CPIM or CSCP certifications are a plus
