What You’ll Do
  • Review work orders, engineering drawings, and OEM specifications to ensure accurate assembly
  • Assemble cooling packages and components to meet customer-specific requirements and tolerances
  • Inspect products throughout the assembly process to ensure compliance with quality standards and OEM expectations
  • Identify and perform necessary adjustments or repairs to meet both internal and customer quality standards
  • Locate, verify, and retrieve parts required for final assembly
  • Attach and secure all components according to detailed specifications and procedures
  • Safely move cooling packages to and from workstations using manual methods or lifting equipment
  • Read, interpret, and follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, and OEM specifications
  • Understand customer-specific requirements and quality expectations
  • Possess basic proficiency with computer systems and production documentation
  • Show strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and compliance
  • Have basic mathematical skills and the ability to use measuring tools
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and production equipment safely
  • Communicate effectively for reporting issues and collaborating with team members
  • Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
What We’re Looking For
  • Prior experience working in a manufacturing or production environment is required
  • Previous experience in final assembly or OEM-specific assembly is preferred
  • Ability to work the assigned shift consistently
  • Ability to meet attendance requirements as outlined in AKG’s Employee Information Handbook
  • Ability to sit approximately 30%, walk 65%, and stand 5% of the workday
  • Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, twisting, and turning
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds approximately 20% of the time
  • Ability to safely operate equipment including chain hoists, pallet jacks, saws, and power tools
  • Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including steel-toe shoes and safety glasses
